There are many opportunities for individuals to volunteer for the De Pere Area
Chamber of Commerce and its programs, including Main Street De Pere, Inc. Join the committee that matches your passion.
Become an active member of one of the many committees that play a
pivotal role in maintaining and improving the quality of life in
De Pere.
Membership Committee
Focus: inviting area businesses to join the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce who are either based in the De Pere area or do businesses in the De Pere area or seek to do business with De Pere businesses and residents The committee also seeks volunteers to assist with planning membership networking and special events.
Meetings: Schedule currently being established
Partnership Campaign Subcommittee
Focus: In order to build a secure foundation and ensure the future financial health of the organization, making of targeted contacts with area businesses by Board members trading specified benefits at differing levels for financial contributions to the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce for periods of one to three year
Promotions Committee (for both the DPACC & MSDP, Inc)
Focus: developing & staffing (with volunteers) value-added events that market De Pere through its unique identity--not only to the local area, but statewide, and throughout the Midwest; Events that are revenue positive for the organization are key

Special Event Subcommittees (for both the DPACC & MSDP, Inc) Farmer’s Market – Meetings begin in February Taste of Wine and Beer in De Pere – Meetings begin in March Carriage Rides – Meetings begin in April

Retail Subcommittee (for both the DPACC & MSDP, Inc)
Focus: Creating cohesive, comprehensive tie-ins to Chamber and community based events for our retail sector members to enhance the value of the event to our economic base; suggesting event ideas to the Promotions committee. Cross-populate ideas, tie-ins, promotions to the entertainment subcommittee.
Meetings: Schedule currently being established
Entertainment Subcommittee (for both the DPACC & MSDP, Inc): Focus: Creating cohesive, comprehensive tie-ins to Chamber and community based events for our entertainment industry (bar, restaurant, & entertainment) members to enhance the value of the event to our economic base; suggesting event ideas to the Promotions committee. Cross-populate ideas, tie-ins, promotions to the retail subcommittee.
Meetings: Schedule currently being established
Marketing Committee
Focus: Developing a marketing/communications plan for the entire organization; setting parameters for a consistent, organized and positive graphic identity for the organization; oversee the overall development of a cohesive look to all marketing/communication pieces to ensure they fall within the graphic identity guidelines and mission/vision of the organization.

Committees of Main Street De Pere, Inc, a program of
the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce
Design Committee
Focus: Signage review, offer assistance & expertise to Main Street area businesses for design & facades, work with community & City of De Pere to create and promulgate a thematic approach to the “look” of the Main Street area, work with the City of De Pere and community toward a long-range plan for the downtown.
Meetings: Schedule currently being established.
Beautification Subcommittee
Focus: streetscape beautification projects and seasonal decorations, in an effort to continually beautify De Pere. Conducts annual Grow With De Pere Campaign.
Meetings: First Tuesday of each month at 7:00 am.
Economic Restructuring Committee (full)
Focus: market analysis, business development (retention, expansion, recruitment) and real estate development.
Meetings: Second Tuesday of each month at 12:00 noon. Location determined each month.
